Service Description

Give your fur-child the adventure they deserve with The Hiking Pooch’s monthly Hiking Adventures membership. Our experienced hiking guides/trained dog handlers will take your pooch on an exciting and safe on-leash hiking adventure, giving them the exercise and stimulation they need to stay healthy and happy. Plus, with our multiple booking options, you can easily fit our hikes into your busy lifestyle. 8 hike-adventures per month. Twice a week, we'll pick up your dog and bring it back safe and happy. Sign up today to give your dog the outdoor adventure they’ve been dreaming of. This service is available for small size dogs: under 22 lbs. (>10 kg) VALUE: - Pick-up and drop-off your pooch before and after hike - Our human hikers will have on them a Dog Carrier Backpack for your tiny and tired fur-baby (just in case) to help them accommodate to the adventure. - Limited to 8 hikes/month (2 times per week). - Book your hike in advance on our easy booking online system. - Dog training mini-session to practice basic commands e.g. sit, stay, heel, leave it, come. - Bark-Out-Loud session during the hike to let it out, increase dog’s confidence and decrease anxiety. Hikers, both human and dogs, howl and bark along. (see FAQ) - 14 days membership cancellation notice. PERKS: - 1 free hike for new members in the first month - 10% discount at PetSmart and in our online store (coming soon) - Monthly draw for a gift (doggy hiking backpack, personalized t-shirt with your dog’s portrait, pooch water bottle, *homemade healthy treats*) - Members-only occasional pooch extended care on weekends for $5/hr.
